Lucky Cowboy was born from a lifelong love of creating—and from the quiet, persistent call of the open road. Just a girl from a small town in North Carolina with dreams bigger than the sky, I followed that call—guided by a belief that something more was waiting out there. More beauty. More freedom. More magic.

I moved to New York City, chasing creativity and carving my path. I met my husband there, and together we headed west to Colorado—where my love for wide-open spaces and soulful landscapes truly took root. Eventually, we found our way to the charming seaside gem of Laguna Beach, California. Along the way, I collected moments, mentors, and meaning.

Through it all, making was my anchor. My first sewing machine was a birthday gift when I was 11, taught by my grandmother, and from that moment on, I was captivated by the magic of bringing something to life with my hands. My creative path has taken many forms—but hats have always held a special place in my heart.

Millinery speaks to every part of me: the storyteller, the artisan, the seeker. With the guidance of incredible mentors, I refined my skills and deepened my understanding of the craft. I launched Lucky Cowboy and opened the Laguna Beach studio in early 2025. What started as a dream has grown into a deeply personal brand rooted in craftsmanship, storytelling, and soul.

Lucky Cowboy was built on a deep appreciation for the spirit of my own journey west. I’ve always been captivated by the untamed beauty of open skies and the limitless possibilities they hold. Every hat I create is more than just an accessory—it’s a canvas for self-expression, a reflection of individuality, and a story waiting to be told.

Each piece is infused with the spirit of adventure and the belief that a little bit of luck can be found wherever the road leads. My hope is that every hat becomes a cherished companion for the trails ahead—a reminder of where you’ve been, where you’re going, and the beauty of the journey in between.
